Would you like to feel more s3xually confident?

Hi friends,
This newsletter is a slightly different one this week.

Total Prize Value: £489.99!
This deal is only live until the 24th May.
How to enter
I’m going to tell you in a moment, so please, read on.
Over the past month a lot of new faces have joined us, so it feels like the perfect moment for a quick re-introduction.
Many of you have been reading this newsletter, and building this community with me, for years. Thank you for riding with me on this whole adventure.
If you’re new here, welcome! I’m Billie. For the past decade my work has centred on women, wellness and pleasure. I’m a co-founder of Ferly, a Penguin-published author (as of today!), a certified sex-and-relationship coach, and an expert voices in places like The Times, The Daily Mail, Vogue, TED, Vanity Fair, and more.
How did I get here?
Back in 2015 I was sexually assaulted at work by a senior colleague (I write about it in the book, if you’re curious). The fallout wrecked my mental health and pushed me out of banking altogether.
On my journey to reclaiming my health, I qualified as a holistic health coach and I kept hearing the same thing from every woman I worked with: Sex is an issue, and there’s nowhere safe to talk about it.
It was either therapy with a two-year wait-list or Cosmo with its “Top 10 Sex Tips”.
Frustrated, I joined a six-month business programme designed for folks wanting to build something that would transform the mental and emotional health of women and girls. Even on a programme for women, nobody would touch sexual wellbeing.
So, naïve, 27, and slightly furious, I decided to change that.
In 2018 Ferly was born.
People warned us not to do it. “You’ll never raise money, sex tech is career suicide for female founders.” Mostly, they were right, but one person had the same relentless belief I did: my co-founder, Anna Hushlak.
Fast-forward: it’s been two years since we signed a book deal, seven since we launched Ferly, and ten since the assault.
Today we publish our debut book Turn Yourself On: Get Confident, Discover Pleasure and Find Your Power. Poetic timing, really, and darkly hilarious that today Meta decided to shadow-ban us. I have 40,000 followers and only about 100 are seeing my Stories.
That’s the hill we’ve been climbing: misogynistic investors who claim “women don’t enjoy sex,” big-tech rules that lump us in with porn, and cultural shame so thick women struggle to say, “I don’t desire the sex I’m having and I’d like help changing it.”
Yet the messages roll in telling us we’ve changed lives, and that keeps me going.
What Ferly looks like now
For the past two years it’s been a one-woman team. I run the app and socials, write this newsletter, promote the book, work one-to-one with clients, and contribute to any publication brave enough to treat women’s sexuality as serious, modern, and nuanced as I do.
It’s hard work and sometimes thankless. But then magic happens: a client has a breakthrough; a reader writes to say the book moved her; someone flips an Instagram post into a better relationship. I go on a podcast, get asked the right questions, and the fire in my belly roars again.
Publication day!

LOVE seeing our book in your hands!
A decade ago I was a lost girl, scared of her own sexuality. Today I’m a confident woman who has built work, and relationships, that once felt impossible.
I only got here by taking myself on a long, beautiful journey of sexual self-discovery where I learnt to: assert my agency, balance my power, build my self-confidence, cultivate intimacy, embrace desire, honour my health, prioritise pleasure, and improve communication. There’s a reason they form the eight principles we lay out in the book - we’re sharing the exact knowledge, tools and learnings we gained to help you craft your own unique but equally as empowering journey.
As we write in the opening pages:
For every woman who has been made to feel small,
has worried about being normal,
or has ever felt shame—this is for you.
This is your invitation to (re)discover aliveness,
to connect with yourself and the world around you,
and to cultivate the fullest, most powerful version of you.
Two days left

Imagine seeing a book on female pleasure (frank, empowering, un-smutty) on The Sunday Times Bestseller List. It would tell the naysayers that the world is changing. Women do enjoy sex. We deserve to be seen, fully, gorgeously.
You hold that power. If the book speaks to you, buy one for every woman in your life because we’re more common than you think. In doing this, you can join the pleasure revolution from the comfort of your sofa and help create a new reality for women.
Beyond sales, your engagement tells me to keep going: to keep writing, keep fighting Meta, keep improving the app, keep coaching, keep championing women’s right to joyful sex.
So, let’s leave these in the past: obligation sex, painful sex, duty sex, performative sex, sex without pleasure, sex we fake to finish.
And welcome in sex you crave, look forward to, feel present during but most importantly, let’s welcome in the most powerful and alive version of you.
Time’s running out, only two days left. Shall we do it together?
Finally, we know £18 might feel like a lot of money for a book which is why we’ve tried to make it the most valuable book you’ll ever own:
~40 well researched tools that have been tried in tested
A website with all the tools downloadable so you can have beautiful digital versions in case you want to share them or keep them
Years of research into the science of sex to make sure all our advice was the most up to date and useful as possible
A free subscription to the app (£40) so you’re actually saving money
The chance to win the most incredible goodie bag worth almost £500
With love and fire,
Billie
